Over the past 40 years Gary Otterbacher has earned a reputation for building trailers that are high quality, durable, strong , well-designed, and innovative. With Lifetime Products bunkhouses, Gary is filling a need in the carnival industry with a bunk trailer that meets these same standards.
In 1971 Gary Otterbacher built his first game trailer piece by piece, hauling the unfinished trailer from spot to spot while working on his father’s carnival. Back then, he saw the need for a well-built trailer that could stand the abuses of the road. This single game trailer grew into Otterbacher Mfg. which set the standard for trailers in the carnival industry for more than 25 years. Game, concession, office, living quarters, and ticket boxes were all custom made with steel and aluminum, never wood.
In 2001, Gary started Hi-Way Star Trailers, with the same philosophy of a durable, high-quality trailer. Hi-Way Star trailers were made on an all steel frame with aluminum outer body.
Over the past 40 years he has earned the reputation for building trailers that are high quality, long-lasting/durable, strong, well-designed, and innovative. Now, spotting another need in the carnival industry for a high-quality, durable, low maintenance bunk trailer, Gary started Lifetime Products Bunkhouses, continuing to provide the industry with high-quality, high-value trailers.
